From September 2011, we’ll be meeting on the first Thursday of every month at the offices above Oxfam, 34A New Broadway, London W5 2XA (just along from the Town Hall).
Our next meeting date is Thursday 8th December, 6pm - for this meeting, we will be in a meeting room at Ealing Council’s Perceval House, 14/16 Uxbridge Road, Ealing W5 2HL. Please contact Jackie Whitaker at info@ealingfairtrade.org.uk to let us know if you are planning to attend, in case we have to change the date at the last moment.
We are a friendly group and anyone with an interest in Fairtrade or wanting to gain admin, marketing, promotional or events experience is very welcome to join us.

- A Facebook Ealing Fairtrade group and Fairtrade London Campaign group, join the groups or add them as a friend to show your support and find out about Fairtrade events in your local area

Hi there! Next Monday (Oct 10th) I start taking a course on Documentary Filmmaking at the Ealing Studios (Met Film School). By the end of our 8 weeks course, we should have made a short film about subjects that interest us. As many other people today I have great interest in sustainability and fair development. I was already thinking about making my short film based on some sort of food issue that is being developed in the UK, like small scale agriculture in the city or permaculture. Doing my research I found out about Fairtrade and it blew my mind!
I wonder if there is any interest from your part to collaborate with the school and with me on this film project.
Also, since I come from Brazil this would be valuable information for me to have and possibly bring back to my country with me.
Besides all I really appreciate your efforts on trying to make the world we live in a better place.
I hope to hear from you soon and maybe we could schedule a visit so I can learn more about Fairtrading.
